Radiology

Radiography is a diagnostic technique based on the use of X-rays and on the braking effect due to the interaction between material and radiation.

The radiographic image is determined because of the different body tissues absorb X-rays in a different way. The examination is made to verify fractures as a result of trauma, bone degeneration (osteoarthritis), inflammatory changes and any bone metastases or lesions.

Our ultrasound radiology tool is technically very small and very advanced. It is easy to use , with excellent picture quality and reduced X-ray. It is really efficient in the execution speed of the examination thanks to the reduced steps previously required by normal radiological and morever for the easy positioning of patients on a comfortable table with adjustable height.
The Radiological visit does not provide any specific preparation standard. You should remember to bring with you any CDs of previously performed radiological examinations.

The Hospital chose to develop images exclusively in digital format, delivering them to CD Roms to patients, to have a lesser environmental impact and provide a more healthy workplace for operators, reducing the clutter of information. Report is delivered to the patient on CD ROM shortly after the procedure.
